Hello, my name is Melissa, and I am registered mental health counselor intern here at Miracle City Counseling. I hold a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Central Florida (2018) and received my Liberty University pursuing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2023).

I have over five years of experience conducting child development evaluations, and enjoy working with children and their parents in educational and therapeutic settings. My areas of interest include parent and caregiver support, maternal mental health, and helping build social and emotional skills in both children and adults. I use a combination of evidence based therapies and techniques including cognitive processing therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and gestalt therapy in unique ways to help each individual client.

I enjoy working with clients because everyone has a story to tell, and my passion is to hold space and offer hope to those who seek healing.
