Bilingual: English/Spanish
Hello! I’m Lydia, a bilingual (Spanish) Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Titusville, Florida specializing in treatment for children (ages 3-12) on their paths toward healing and growth. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix (2015) and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University (2023).
Valuing the importance of family involvement, caregivers can expect to be actively engaged in their child’s progress. Using creative techniques like play therapy, expressive storytelling, and imaginative play, I provide children with a safe space to explore their feelings and grow. My therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, adapting each to meet developmental needs. My areas of expertise include trauma-informed treatment, emotional regulation, and family dynamics, along with support for Autism and ADHD, focused to achieve the goals we set together.
I also work with young adults seeking to heal from trauma, manage anxiety, or navigate relational issues. With personalized guidance throughout the process, my approach centers on uncovering strengths and build emotional awareness. I believe in the transformative power of emotional insight and fresh perspectives, helping you unlock your potential for meaningful growth. Together, we’ll explore new perspectives and build the foundation for a more balanced and fulfilling life.
